Fused Glass Pink Flower

Fused glass items are made by cutting and layering shaped pieces of glass and kiln firing the ‘stack’ to a very high temperature in carefully controlled temperature stages so they melt together and form one piece. Then the item is cooled during a very specific set of cooling times which can be more than twelve hours.

It is a form of glass art which was first used thousands of years ago and produces beautiful unique pieces of art.
